BEACH HUTS MIDDLETON - COVID19 FAQ

 

Q:          Are you still open for business?

A:            Yes, business is operating as per normal hours.

Q:        Will we be in contact with other people whilst staying at the huts?

A:            We are now operating with a contactless check in/check out. Reception has been closed. We will send check in details via email the day before arrival. 

Q:        How will we get our key and know which hut is ours?

A:            Whilst reception is closed, we will still have an information board outside the front door with information on key & hut location.  Your name will also be placed on your hut door prior to arrival.  A site plan of hut locations is also placed on our board.  All this information is also provided in your pre-arrival email.

Q:        How do we know the huts are clean & disinfected?

A:             Our team members are aware of current requirements and are undertaking extreme levels of health and safety procedures to ensure that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained. 

We are taking extra steps to adhere to the strictest of World Health Organisation (WHO) advice and the protocols advised by local and international authorities. 

Q:        Are your huts stand alone or do you share parts with other guests?

A:            All huts are stand alone and spaced evenly apart.  All huts have either their own private courtyard or deck and all have a carport.

Q:        Is it safe to use your communal Village Hall?

A:            The Village Hall is cleaned to the same standards as our huts.  We have appropriate signage to advise maximum number of people in the hall at one time to be four.  The onus is still on our guests to practice their own social distancing should they choose to use the hall.

Q:        As restaurants are still closed, will there be places in the region who still do takeaway and/or deliver?

A:            Alexandrina council has provided an informative list of over 40 local food venues who still provide a takeaway and/or delivery service to the huts.  This list is provided in your hut compendium.

Q:        Will we lose our money if we must cancel our booking at any time?

A:            No, if you cancel your booking outside of 48 hrs prior to your arrival, there is no cancellation fee.  We are not currently taking deposits for this reason.

 We will ask for credit card details which will not be processed until the day of check in. 

 Should you cancel inside the 48 hours, there will be a 50% room rate charge.
